Four reflexes to build before test day.
A method is useless on test day if it still takes effort. Repeat it on exercises in the real format until you stop thinking about it.
Identify who is speaking, where and why within the first three seconds.
Catch the word that flips the meaning: mais, sauf, finalement.
Rule out the choice that repeats the audio without matching its meaning.
Answer, then move on: the next question is already starting.
What the test makes you listen to
- Everyday exchanges: dialogues, interviews, phone conversations
- Simple, clear messages and announcements
- Information about people, facts or events, on radio or television
- Talks on concrete or abstract topics
- Any kind of speech delivered at normal speed

One play only
Every recording is played once, and the question is asked after the audio. There is no going back.
Repeated words
An answer that reuses words from the audio does not always match its meaning. It is the most common trap.
The pace
39 questions in 35 minutes: less than a minute per question, audio included. Hesitating costs you the next one.
