The format

Three tasks, three reflexes.

Prompts stay in French, exactly as on test day. In the bank, each combination brings together one prompt of every task.

5 min 30, including 2 min of preparation
  3. Task 3

    Expressing a point of view

Prompt bank

Every session

Every session opens in the practice space: the prompts by combination, writing or recording against the clock. The most recent sessions are open with no account.

Method

Four reflexes to build before test day.

A method is useless on test day if it still takes effort. Repeat it on exercises in the real format until you stop thinking about it.

  1. Answer first, then expand.

  2. In task 2, prepare ten varied questions in two minutes.

  3. In task 3, state your position, then give two illustrated arguments.

  4. Rephrase without stopping when a word escapes you.

The test

What the test asks of you

  • Talking about yourself, your family and your work environment
  • Asking questions that fit the proposed situation
  • Giving your opinion, explaining the pros and cons of a project
  • Presenting a clear, structured argument
  • Developing a complex topic, then concluding

The traps
  • The memorized text

Reciting a memorized text is treated as fraud. Train structures, not a script.

  • Reversed roles

In task 2 you are the one asking the questions. Three questions are not enough to show your level.

  • Silence

In task 3 there is no preparation. State your position straight away, then develop it.

The platform to be ready before test day

A prompt you read is not a prompt you prepared.
